Terms of Service

Last updated August 6, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and NewSunSEO for the use of SEOScanPro at seoscanpro.ai. Creating an account means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you have the authority to do that.

What the service is

SEOScanPro crawls a website you nominate, runs a fixed set of technical, content, performance, security and AI visibility checks against it, and reports what it measured along with what we suggest you fix. Where you connect a Google account, it also reports your own Search Console and Analytics figures back to you. It is a measurement and reporting tool. It does not make changes to your website.

Your account

  • Give a real email address. It is where a verification code, a password reset and every support reply goes.
  • Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you, so tell us at once if you think somebody else has the password.
  • One login is one person. Your team can have their own logins under your account rather than sharing one.
  • You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 16.

Scanning sites you are allowed to scan

Only run audits against a site you own or that you have permission to audit, for example a client site you work on. Our crawler identifies itself and respects a reasonable request rate. You must not use the product to attack, overload or probe a site you have no business touching, and you must not use it to work around anybody’s access controls. This is the one rule we will suspend an account over without a warning.

What you must not do

  • Resell, sublicense or repackage the product itself, or expose our scanning engine to others as if it were your own API. Sharing a report with a client is fine and is what the product is for.
  • Try to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, or get into parts of it that are not yours.
  • Use the product to build a competing scanning engine.
  • Upload or process anything unlawful, or use the service to harass anybody.
  • Automate the interface at a rate that degrades the service for other customers.

Plans, trials and fees

The plans and prices are shown on the pricing page and on your account. A trial gives you the product for the period stated at signup, and it ends on its own. Paid plans are arranged with us directly, and fees are payable in advance for the period shown. When online checkout is available these terms will be updated with the renewal and refund detail that goes with it.

We will tell you before a price changes, and a change never applies to a period you have already paid for. If we get a charge wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

Your data and our software

The sites you add, the audits you run and anything you connect stay yours. You give us permission to process them for the single purpose of running the service for you. What we hold and for how long is set out in the privacy policy.

The application, the scoring engine, the checks behind it and everything on this site are ours and stay ours. Nothing here transfers ownership of any of it. You may share and reuse the reports the product produces for you, including with your clients.

Third party services

Connecting a Google account puts you under Google’s own terms for that account as well as these. Some figures we show, including domain authority and geo grid results, come from third party sources and are reported as those sources return them. We are not responsible for a third party changing, delaying or withdrawing its data.

Availability

We aim to keep the service up and to keep it fast, but we do not promise a specific uptime figure and we do not offer credits for downtime. Maintenance happens, and occasionally a crawl fails because the site being crawled is down or is blocking us. Where a scan cannot complete we say so rather than showing a made up result.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is being used to attack somebody, or that has not paid. If we close an account for a reason other than abuse, we will tell you first and give you a chance to get your reports out.

No warranty

The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we do not warrant any particular search ranking, traffic level or commercial result. What a score does and does not mean is set out on the disclaimer page, and it forms part of these terms.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost revenue or lost data. Our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of the page moves when we do, and we will email you about anything significant. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction over any dispute. Before either side files anything, we ask that you write to us so we can try to settle it directly.
