SEOScanPro measures a website and reports what it found. This page is about the difference between a measurement and a promise.

A score is a measurement, not a ranking forecast

Every number in a report comes from something we actually checked on the page or the server: a header that is present or missing, a response time, an image without alt text, a rule in a robots file. Fixing what a report flags makes a site technically better, and that generally helps. It is not a guarantee of a position in Google, of traffic, of leads or of revenue. Search engines and AI assistants rank on far more than the technical state of a page, they change their systems constantly, and nobody outside them knows the whole picture. Treat a score as a health check, not a prediction.

Results change over time

A site scanned twice in a week can score differently because the site changed, because a server was slow at that moment, or because a check now measures something new. That is the history working as intended, and it is why we keep earlier audits rather than overwriting them.

Data from other sources

Search Console and Analytics figures come from your own Google account and are shown as Google returns them, including the delay of two or three days before Google finishes counting a day. Domain authority, geo grid positions and similar third party metrics come from their providers, are their estimates rather than ours, and can differ from what another tool tells you. We do not adjust them, and we cannot correct them.

What the automated checks are not

  • The accessibility checks are automated. They catch what a machine can catch, and they are not a WCAG conformance audit, an opinion on legal compliance, or a substitute for testing with real assistive technology and real people.
  • The security checks look at what is visible from outside: headers, certificate, cookie flags, mail records, mixed content. They are not a penetration test and they say nothing about your application code, your server or your passwords.
  • The AI visibility checks report whether specific crawlers are permitted and whether the structured data an assistant looks for is present. Whether an assistant then cites you is its decision, not something any tool controls.
  • The suggested fixes are recommendations from what we measured. Have your developer review a change before shipping it, particularly anything touching security headers or a robots file.

Not professional advice

Nothing in the product, on this website or in a report is legal, financial, accounting or other professional advice. Decisions you take based on a report are yours. If a matter has legal or regulatory weight, including accessibility obligations or privacy compliance, take advice from somebody qualified to give it.
